Following a family tragedy, Eric Steele wrote a collection of songs from the perspective of an outlaw country band channeling the story of the Alamo over the course of a honky tonk performance. The songs were masterfully recorded at Audio Dallas (where Willie Nelson recorded Red Headed Stranger) by leading Texas studio players with scratch vocals to be re-recorded later by hand-picked guest vocalists from Texas and beyond. The first of these guests was Charley Pride and the second, Robert Ellis. Josh Block of Niles City Sound is producing the vocal tracks and mastering the final songs that will appear on Alamo Bootleg: Volume 1, due for release in 2020. Fortress Creative will manage all aspects of the marketing including branding, brand partnerships and content strategy.
