The inaugural Fortress Festival took place in the spring of 2017. Since then it has grown to become one of the most highly praised events in North Texas, which, was previously without a multi-day, multi-genre, destination music festival. It has been named a top festival by Harper’s Bazaar, People Magazine, USA Today, Dallas Observer, Fort Worth Magazine and the Fort Worth Weekly. Fortress Creative handles all marketing for the festival from branding to content strategy to automation, as well as the activations and marketing objectives of the festival sponsors. The festival brand is intended to embody the unique identify of Fort Worth and the specific location of the festival grounds, in the City’s famous Cultural District. Here, Fort Worth’s western heritage and world-class fine art museums are juxtaposed, a perfect place to celebrate the City’s culture.
